Every year Barti rum holds a competition to raise money for various charities, this year’s being Sea Trust Wales. I decided to take part as it was a fun opportunity to draw a themed illustration and have my art on display alongside other fantastic creators!

As a lover of cryptids, I drew a Kraken-inspired monster reaching up from the depths to steal a bottle of Barti rum from the ship. The colours used were all from Barti Rum’s own packaging, even the ship design is from their bottle!

Although I didn’t win, I was a runner-up, which meant I received a gift card to spend on Barti Rum products, which was prize enough for me!
